Dear Eric,
can I on behalf of the Ambulance Sector and I'm sure all of your
colleagues throughout the Ambulance Services across the whole of the
UK pay tribute to the members you represent in London Ambulance
Service for the dedication and commitment they have demonstrated
during what is clearly the most appalling day's events in our
country's recent history.
Our thoughts immediately will go out to
the victims and their families but nobody has overlooked the
commitment of L.A.S. staff both on the front line and in control and
support and management roles throughout the Service whose actions
and skill make all of us associated with Ambulance extremely proud
and grateful.
Your colleague
Joseph

Hello Eric
I would just like to
offer our condolences to those who lost their lives and suffered
injury yesterday, congratulations go to all your staff, from
greater Manchester Ambulance branch of unison and the North West
Ambulance sector, for the excellent display of professionalism
displayed yesterday when faced with such horrific and devastating
scenes as I am sure they were.
It made me and my
colleagues very proud to be personally associated with London
Ambulance Service who has such dedicated and professional staff at
all levels within the service. We are fully aware personally what it
is like to deal with incidents like this and the tremendous pressure
it places on our colleagues but like true professionals we get stuck
in and do the job we are paid for. I am sure the staff and public of
London will not give in to threats of terrorism and carry on with
their lives as normal; I am also sure without your staffs dedication
and bravery that many more lives would have been lost.
Our sincere best wishes
go to you Eric and All your staff at this difficult time
Forever proud to call
you our friend
From All the Stewards
and staff in GMAS and Bill Jones Full Time
Regional Officer.
