There are many benefits of being a UNISON member in addition to workplace representation. Here is just a selection of benefits and special offers available to UNISON members within the Las.

Professional indemnity insurance
Professional indemnity insurance of up to £1 million for all members with main employment in the NHS is just one more benefit of joining UNISON.

Full members are also entitled to benefits paid out on:
death, accident, fatal accident, permanent incapacity and partial incapacity. Education and training grants are also available.

This branch offers benefits over and above those offered by UNISON nationally such as our Retirement grant.

£50 Book Grant
LAS branch members can claim up to £50 to purchase books for education purposes. Full details are on the education page.
