Welcome to the new London Ambulance Service UNISON Branch discount card. The card was launched at the end of 2009 as a free benefit to all members of the branch. The card is managed by Lealta who offer a helpline at 0871 789 7777 Mon-Fri 09-17. You can also e-mail them at info@lealtabenefits.com

Savings are offered in a variety of ways from national retailers like Avis, APH Airport Parking, JJB Sports, Pizza Hut, Comet, Carphone Warehouse, HiQ & Thorntons to name just a few. Additionally many local retailers are part of the scheme and you can even nominate them yourself. There is an easy search engine on the site to identify the nearest retailers offering discounts. You could potentially save enough money over the year to cover the entire cost of your UNISON Membership and more with most members saving on average up to and in excess of £600.00 a year.

Frequently asked questions

Q. I am a Unison Member but have not received my discount card?
A. Cards are only for members of the LAS Branch. We started distributing them with the 2010 diaries towards the end of 2009. If you haven't yet received it then speak to your local rep in the first instance as they were distributing the initial issue of the cards. You can of course fill out our online enquiry form.

Q. I was hoping to obtain a discount at my local restaurant but they are not featured on your site. Would you be able to approach them and see if they can offer a discount to cardholders?
A. Yes, we can certainly ask them. One special feature of the Lealta Benefits Card scheme is that we will try to secure new discounts that people request. This is not just for restaurants but for any suitable business. Get in touch and we’ll see what we can do for you.

Q. How will I find out about new discounts added to the scheme without constantly logging on to the website?
A. Whilst we would hope that you log on to our website everyday, we understand that isn’t always practical. That’s why we send out regular Discount Bulletin emails with details of brand new savings or discounts on the scheme. These emails are of course optional and you can opt out of receiving them if you so wish.
