We are aware of the pressures UNISON members face on a daily basis and can provide support at times of unforeseen financial hardship or personal difficulty such as redundancy, bereavement, illness or relationship breakdown.
That is why this branch has it's own Welfare Officer who you can contact directly if you need any of our services.

    Family Holidays - New Procedures

From June 2009 the assessment process for Family Holidays has been changed – please read the attached for full details.

A new telephone system has been installed in UNISON Welfare's national office in London. This means that in addition to having access to the latest technology, we will also benefit from being being linked to the main UNISON telephone network at Mabledon Place. We hope that the development will provide a better service to callers. From 10 February 2004 the new general enquiry point tel number for UNISON Welfare is 020 7551 1620.

A new online version of UNISON welfare's debt advice service has been launched. It contains advice and debt information and outlines some of the main debt problems. There are also online diagnostic tools to help you set up the best recovery plan for your particular problem. The service is completely free to UNISON members.
