The web site update has
now been completed and the site is fully functioning
with several improvements. With over 5,000 files, the
site has expanded rapidly since it was launched back in
2003. Since that
time several improvements and modifications have been
introduced to make our site one of the best union sites
in the UK. However, there are still more features we
wanted to introduce and with the size of the site
growing, more space was needed so that no page or file
would have to be deleted. One of the most noticeable new
features is the scrolling new box on the home page.
There is also another one on the stewards page with
UNISON only news. All contact forms have also been given
a fresh new look.
You may also notice the
site is slightly faster than before which is another
very welcome improvement.
The steward directory
is still offline due to a technical fault but will be up
and running again as soon as possible.
