Stewards Resource Page

Welcome to the stewards resource page for all station reps, Health & Safety Reps and Learner Reps. This page has been created to help you find the resources you need to carry out your duties.

Visit the UNISON Knowledge Section for information on employment rights and key issues affecting people in the workplace and at home. It provides up-to-date and legally checked guidance, answers to common questions, links to useful external sites and access to supporting materials from various UNISON departments. You will need to be logged in to 'My UNISON' to view most documents.

I would urge you to sign up to the newsletter which can be done on THIS PAGE & the HOME page of this site. It is important you receive this as your members will expect you to be up to date with the latest news & information. You should also sign up for text alerts on your phone. As soon as anything is happening we will send out an SMS. Full details on how to subscribe can be found here. You should also be encouraging your members to sign up as well, as this will ultimately make your job easier.

Be sure to read the Branch Secretary's blog as it will have important news and updates.
Please use the tools on this page and throughout the website. Use the stationary templates. Although designed in Word they can be opened just as easily using free software such as open office. Details of this and other free software are available on our free software page.

If there are any items that you think should be on this page then please send an e-mail to:

New CASE form and Employment Tribunal Fees

The UNISON CASE management form that should be completed when members seek help from their representative has been updated this month. This is due to a new section being added regarding employment tribunals. Please use these forms for all your cases no matter how small they may be, as it is good practice for when one of your cases is referred either to a more senior rep or to Head Office.

Additionally, any comments posted should be your views and in no way appear to be the view of the branch or the union unless being reposted. If you would like further guidance then please send an e-mail to the or get in touch with the branch secretary.
