Reps. This page has been created to help you find the resources you
need to carry out your duties.
I would urge you to sign up to
the newsletter which can be done on THIS PAGE & the
HOME page of this site. It is important you receive this as your
members will expect you to be up to date with the latest news &
information. You should also be encouraging your members to sign up
as well, as this will ultimately make your job easier. Be sure to
read the Branch
Secretary's page as it will have important news and updates.
We now have a new page called

Downloads where you can download material produced by the UNISON
& the branch. Items intended for steward use only such as our blank
poster are available for download at the bottom of this page.

New Stationery Items
A new station bulletin template has been added.
Please ensure you download this new version and that all previous
versions are deleted from your computer. This will ensure the branch
is delivering messages in a consistent format.
The web site poster has also been updated as it was recognised that
the old one had errors.
New Updated Case Form
Please note that the 'Case Form' has been updated. Reps should
dispose of the old forms and start using the new one straight away.

The form is in Word format.
Please use these forms for all your cases no matter how
small they may be, as it is good practice for when one of your cases
is referred either to a more senior rep or to Head Office.
Pensions victory
aids recruitment The hard work and
campaigning of UNISON against the changes to the pension scheme -
nationally, in regions and branches and by members - has paid off.
Lengthy negotiations between UNISON general secretary Dave
Prentis and deputy prime minister John Prescott have resulted in a
momentous breakthrough in the dispute making it an excellent time
for recruitment.

UNISON Branch E-Mail Accounts Due to the overwhelming success of our
@lasunison.net e-mail service it has been decided that we will no
longer issue e-mail accounts on the .com domain. This domain will
now be reserved for e-mail directly related to the web site and for
branch officer use only. However, If you only require a forwarding
account then we may be able to create this for you. Existing
accounts are unaffected by this decision but all new activists are
now urged to sign up to our new easier to use and self managed
lasunison.net e-mail service. You can sign up via the link in the
menu at the top of this
page. All enquiries to
